Why do you like Indonesian Dancing?

I love Indonesian Dancing because it constantly reminds me of how amazing and unique my culture is! Also, I get to meet many other great dancers.

WHY ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT INDONESIA?

I was born in Indonesia and grew up there for some of my childhood, so Indonesia has always been a part of me and is extremely special to me!

MY FAVOURITE STYLE OF INDONESIAN DANCE

I don't really have a favourite style of Indonesian Dance because all of the dances from the many islands are different and unique, which makes each of the dances we learn exciting and fun

How long have you been a part of Sanggar Lestari?

I joined Sanggar Lestari in 2013 not knowing how to dance at all! I wanted to find a way to connect to my culture and I saw a few people from Sanggar Lestari performing at a Festival and then decided that I wanted to join in!
