Since 2003, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has run an annual program, IACS (Indonesian Arts & Culture Scholarship), also known as BSBI (Beasiswa Seni dan Budaya Indonesia). A fully funded program aimed to immerse foreigners from all around the world, to learn about the diversity of Indonesia’s rich arts & culture through interaction with local artists in Indonesia.

This year, we are excited to announce that 4 of our girls - Deena, Yana, Mira & Asti, have been selected to participate in this program along with other participants from Japan, Egypt, Portugal, Greece, France, Kazakhstan and South Korea to name a few.

Last night, all of the awardees were officially welcomed to IACS 2021 via the Zoom Opening Event hosted by the MFA. All of the Arts Centres from each participating region of Indonesia were introduced by showing snippets of videos to give the participants a taste of what’s to come, and concluded with a performance by Sanggar Kinanti, Yogyakarta.
