I love Indo Dancing because it's a great way to connect with like-minded people, get involved in the Indonesian Community and have the best time doing it.

My mum is from Bali and it's so important for me to stay connected to my roots. I travel around Indonesia regularly and love learning about different ethnic groups.

Performing Tarian Saman from Aceh gives me the best adrenaline rush! Balinese dancing is also so intricate!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PART OF SANGGAR LESTARI?

I started dancing about a year ago as part of the AIYEP program between Australia and Indonesia. After that - I fell in love!
